Jennifer Hill was went missing October 19, 1973 and her body discovered 3.7 miles away in a cornfield, nine days later. A 19 yearold man, Kim Hubbard was arrested, convicted and served out his 10-20 year sentence. Hubbard and his supportors believe he was framed by the PA State Police and other officials. In 2013, Detective Ken Mains, working for the Lycoming County District Attorney, was given the task of finding out if Hubbards claims of innocence had merit.
After a year long re-investigation of this crime, Mains came to a conclusion that he presented to the District Attorney. Mains was villified by some on the prosecution and by the defendant. Yet, he stood his ground and did his job investigating the case with the non-biased approached he has become known for.
