Biography

Detective Kenneth Mains is recognized as one of the leading cold case investigators in the country, known for solving long standing mysteries by blending forensic science, criminal profiling, victimology, and crime scene analysis. A United States Marine Corps veteran with over 20 combined years in law enforcement, he has served with the Williamsport Bureau of Police, the FBI, and the Lycoming County District Attorney's Office. Throughout his career he has earned the trust of families and fellow investigators by staying focused on one mission: finding answers where others could not.

Mains is the author of Unsolved No More, Murders of Gail and Tamara, Echoes of Evil, Forgotten, and Mastering Cold Case Investigations, each offering insight into his investigative approach and real world results. He has appeared on national networks and starred in the television series Death Row Confidential: Secrets of a Serial Killer, produced by Fireside Pictures in partnership with Dick Wolf, where he helped solve multiple previously unsolved cases. His YouTube show, Unsolved No More, has surpassed 124,000 subscribers, and he now leads the True Crime Division at Fireside Pictures while continuing to work tirelessly to bring closure to families and justice to victims.
